At just 16 years old, Silas Sikkema has released his first single, titled “Loving Someone”. 

Silas started playing Piano at the age of 6 and has gone on to learn multiple instruments, including Piano, Guitar and Drums, which he plays on the worship team at his Church. 

Silas completed a CertIV in music at Mt Pleasant College in Perth in 2023. It was during his studies that he was tasked with composing, performing and producing several original songs. Silas was no stranger to composing original instrumentals, but up until this point, he had never added his own vocals. But he stepped up to the challenge and created several beautiful songs, one of which he recently performed live at Clancy’s Fish Pub in Fremantle. He has also just released a studio recording of that single.
